We love teaching children art through portraiture; our instructional goal: helping them express their emotions and stories through their work.

As a visiting educator teaching honors photography in high school, my approach centers on fostering creativity and personal expression among students. I encourage them to explore their individual perspectives and develop a unique artistic voice through their photography. By incorporating various techniques and themes, students are guided to experiment and challenge conventional boundaries. I emphasize the importance of storytelling through images, helping them articulate their thoughts and emotions visually. This nurturing environment not only enhances their technical skills but also cultivates confidence and a deeper understanding of their own identities as artists.
